Cosmos

Systems

Within the cosmic disk are smaller spinning systems with entities that mostly appear to orbit some large energy source, usually a star.

Entities within a system typically include, but are not limited to, the following:
   Gas giants
   Planets
   Minor planets
   Rocks & asteroids
   Junk & debris
   Space stations

For the centres of these systems, we have observed stars of the following sizes and colours:
   ☼ Red giants
   ☼ Blue giants
   ☼ Red main sequence stars
   ☼ Blue main sequence stars
   ☼ Yellow main sequence stars
   ☼ White dwarves
   ☼ Red dwarves
   ☼ Brown dwarves

Our cleverest star scientists figured out there are some really dark stars as well:
   • Black holes
   • Black dwarves

Sometimes pairs of the above types of stars will orbit eachother:

Alongside these we have also detected strange signals from the following:
   Φ Pulsars
   Φ Magnetars
   Φ Neutron stars

If we don't see a star soon enough, they explode and leave behind a big cloud of colourful gas:
   § Nebulæ

There are also some anomalous pockets in the cosmos where we can look straight through and see out somewhere else:
Θ Worm holes (Note: Nobody has tried going through one yet)
