Sky whales blur the line between sentient and insentient life.
This is due to their ability to rejuvinate upon death as a bubble plant at first before maturing into another sky whale.
Sky whales under observation have largely been found to drift along on the wind, seemingly without interaction and only occasional alterations in course.
We suspect they are fairly unintelligent due to their short lifecycle but further study is required.
