Pirates don't distinguish ranks beyond their leaders so can perform most other roles aboard a ship.

Can do the following:
• Beam things onto the ship
• Beam things off the ship
• Scan entities from the bridge
• Jam frequencies from the bridge
• Pilot the ship to ram an entity from the bridge
• Pilot the ship away from an entity from the bridge
• Pilot the ship to evade an entity from the bridge
• Adjust orbit from the bridge
• Fire futons from an airlock
• Fire weapons from the bridge
• Destroy a tile on an entity
• Repair the ship
• Upgrade the ship
• Convert fuel to petroop from engineering
• Build a tile on an entity
• Mine a tile on an entity using the ship
